The win keeps Chelsea firmly in the race to defend their WSL title, while Everton remain in the bottom half of the table.
Post-Match Reaction
"I'm delighted with the performance and the result," said Chelsea manager Emma Hayes. "We controlled the game from start to finish and created some excellent chances. Guro was clinical from the penalty spot, and Erin's goal was the icing on the cake."
Everton manager Willie Kirk was disappointed with his team's performance. "We didn't compete well enough today," he said. "Chelsea were the better team, and we made too many mistakes. We need to learn from this and improve quickly."
